Thermographic scanning questions

  • A thermal camera shows temperature differences in electrical equipment that you cannot see by eye. A hot spot can point to a loose connection, an unbalanced load or a failing part, so it can be fixed before it causes an outage or damage.

  • Usually not. Scans are done while equipment is running under normal load, because that is when faults show up as heat. We plan the visit with you so the right boards are accessible.
